The Shiny Penny: Homemade Fabric Refresher (Fabreeze)

This is a guest post from one of the Screaming Penny's most loyal readers, Sabrina!  She's made this recipe quite a few times so I thought it would be great to share it here!

Homemade Fabric Refresher (Fabreeze)
- an empty spray bottle
- enough water to fill the bottle
- 2-3 tbs of rubbing alcohol. Use 3 tbs if your fabric softener is thick.
- 3/4 cup of your favorite fabric softener

Add the rubbing alcohol and the fabric softener to the bottle.  Fill the bottle the rest of the way with water and that's it!  Use it just like you would Febreeze!  Thanks so much, Sabrina!

  1. FYI - never spray a liquid fabric softener mix on hard surfaces. It's a slip and fall hazzard, unless you're trying for the $10,000 Funniest Home Video prize.
