CVS Shopping: May 10, 2010

If you haven't already gone into a CVS Pharmacy.. do!  While you are there, join their ExtraCare program.  Thank to their ECB (Extra Care Bucks) program, this was my haul this morning:
- 2 Right Guard Total Defense Power Gel deodorants
- 1 18 count pack of U tampons
- 1 pack of Carefree liners
- 1 tube of Crest Pro-Health toothpaste.
- 1 Bayer "baby aspirin"

I started out today with $3.99 in ECBs.  These reward dollars print out on your receipt. I had them from a previous week.  I took about 20 minutes and got my coupons all together and left for the store.

Transaction #1
- 1 pack of U tampons $4.99
Used the printable coupon HERE for $1 off.  There was another $1 coupon from CVS that you can use with a manufacturers coupon, but I wanted to break even with my ECBs.
Paid: $3.99 and used my $3.99 ECB.
OOP (out of pocket) .24 tax.
Earned $4.99 in ECBs to use on my next transaction.

Transaction #2
- 2 deodorants
- toothpaste
- pantyliners
- Bayer aspirin
- (not pictured: a .50 lollipop for a special 3 year old I know)
Coupons used:
- $3 off any 2 Right Guard coupon found on (see the side bar of my blog for a link to
- .75 off  any Crest Toothpaste 4oz+ liquid or gel Proctor & Gamble 5/02
- $1 off any Bayer Aspirin Product SuperSaver 3/21
-  $1 off any Carefree Product SuperSaver 4/25
I used the $4.99 ECB and paid a total of .74 out of pocket.  I got back a $3.50 ECB, and a $4 ECB.

Totals: I started with $3.99. Spent .98 in cash and walked out with everything AND $7.50 to spend at CVS at a later date.
